Tips on Finding the Right Product for YOU!

The canna-community has had no problems coming up with creative names 🤪 for all the different strains of this plant BUT that can lead us to canna-confusion 🤔. What is right for me?? There are so many options!! How do I know?!?!

Honestly, sometimes it is just testing the strains and paying attention to how your body feels but we do have a few tips to help you out!

1. 🌿 Check out the terpene profile!

Terpenes are the essence of ALL plants not just cannabis plants. Terpenes create the aroma and flavor in plants, the main reason these compounds are produced are to ward off predators and/or attract pollinators. If you have experience with essential oils then learning terpenes becomes easier!

Why does the terpene profile of your CBD flower matter?

Well, the combination of plant terpenes & cannabinoids create what is called the "entourage effect", understanding what each one does & how they work together helps in deciding what strain is right for you. For example, the terpenes found in citrus plants such as limonene may create a more energized & focused effects, while terpenes like linalool which is found in lavender will be more sedating.

2. 🌿What is the dominant cannabinoid?

We all have a unique "endocannabinoid system" or the "ECS", the ECS contains receptors that we like to think of as a bunch of locks that just need keys that are designed for them. The plant cannabinoids from hemp flower ARE the keys to lock & unlock the receptors as needed & when they do they have the ability to control mood, immune function, memory.

How do you know what cannabinoid is dominant in your hemp flower?

This will always be listed on the COA (certificate of analysis) which we provide along with the pictures on each strain listing. CBD carries benefits such as a decrease in anxiety & depression, lessened inflammation, reduced nausea & vomiting & suppressed seizures. Another popular cannabinoid CBG, eases pain, swelling & inflammation, improves mood & fights growth of bacteria & fungi. Shop our CBD dominant strains here!

3. 🌿Hire a Cannabis Coach!

If you are in need of some extra attention for in-depth health challenges hire a Cannabis Coach. It is just like hiring a nutritionist but they assist you in balancing your unique cannabinoid system!

How do you find a coach?

One easy way to fish through some coaches is to search Instagram #cannabiscoach. The Cannabis Coaching Institute has also put together this nifty directory. Always pay attention to how/where were they training and do they have a specialty that compliments your specific needs.

We hope this helps you get started on your very own magical, healing plant journey!
