Women Empowerment & Cannabis

"Did you know that flowering cannabis plants are female? Yes, weed is a lady, and she's awesome." Quote from Weed Mom by Danielle Simone Brand.
This week's clubhouse is on Women's Empowerment: Feminism & Cannabis!

Women's Empowerment means accepting and allowing women who are on the outside of the decision-making process into it.  Empowerment is the process that creates power in individuals over their own lives, society, and their communities. Women's empowerment in cannabis is equipping and allowing women to make life-determining decisions through the different problems they face in choosing to consume cannabis.

Our connection as a female cannabis community is what empowers us to elevate the Mothers who may not feel they have a voice, to feel they have connection and solidarity in coming together around this female plant. Through the sharing of our experiences and beliefs, women have evolved, grown, and stayed connected since dawn time.  As we learn from each other and expand our knowledge, it is ok to shift our beliefs and realign in a way that resonates better for us and where we are in our journeys.

The (sometimes tough) conversations about how we show up, ways we can improve, and what we are doing to give back is how we connect our feminine energy together to elevate each other to all exist in abundance. Being an empowered woman in cannabis and living in your power does not mean pleasing everyone. We can take each interaction and each story shared, as a learning opportunity and a chance to check in with yourself on how you show up for the world. I am sharing my perspective and beliefs as an empowered woman in cannabis. But, know that everyone has a voice and can be a contribution to the female cannabis community.

We celebrate the female powers of cannabis every time we consume the cannabinoid magic of the buds she produces! Let's also celebrate our collective feminine energy by elevating each other. What are your favorite things about the power of this female plant? What has she taught you? How does lady cannabis inspire you?
Come join the conversation on Sunday as we elaborate on this FEMALE PLANT topic and continue the conversation from last week’s “Confidence in Cannabis” chat. We usually go for 2 hours starting at 11 am EST/8 am PST.

Cannabis is a plant of resistance, it’s persistent in its quest to invade human existence, convincing us through our psych to spread its seed across the world. Growing and medicating with it is still an act of rebellion, it is anarchy, it's standing in solidarity for what we know to be true, that this plant carries power, wisdom & the capacity to unite & hold up communities that will no longer be suppressed.
Women & Bipoc communities are finding their seats at the table to lead the charge on the new economy of this expansive plant being. This dank female flower has become a weapon against the patriarchy. We empower women in their choice to consume cannabis medicinally, recreationally, or both without shame. We also encourage one another to take over the cannabis industry. We’re not asking permission or even saying please. We’re saying catch the fuck up because we’re changing society!
I do not think there is a mystery as to why the healing powers come from the flower of the female cannabis plants. I think lady cannabis mirrors the feminine capacity to nurture, nourish & heal as we do in our homes, our jobs, and everyday lives. This ability to heal has been known since 1500 BC when the plant was used by Egyptian women for menstrual disorders & childbirth and that wisdom has not been lost. It is quite possibly literally in our DNA, so it’s no wonder why we're so damn attracted to this Ganja Goddess.
